Payment Processing

Speed provides payment processing services accepting payments via credit cards, checks, money orders, gift cards, promotional coupons, purchase orders and terms. Speed can accept multiple tenders for an order.

Speed provides credit card processing, utilizing real-time secure "payment gateways", for client merchant accounts or for client's using Speed's merchant account. All payment processing is performed using encryption technology and all credit card information is maintained in a secure environment.

When orders are placed, either on the web or over the phone, a real-time authorization is obtained for the amount of the order. This authorization "reserves" the availability of funds for a future "settlement" once the order is shipped. After the order is shipped, a settlement batch is automatically created and submitted through the payment gateway and funds are captured. If Speed is using its client's merchant account, funds are deposited into the client's bank account by the credit card provider. If the client is using Speed's merchant account, on the 1st and 15th of each month, Speed will forward to its' client all monies collected via credit card payments for the previous period less Speed's processing fee and the fees associated with Speed's other Services.

Speed utilizes several levels of fraud protection including:

• Address verification.
• Setting automatic hold levels for merchandise and gift card orders.
• Flagging customers with "fraud" notes.
• And more.

Speed can handle Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and private label credit card transactions.
